What is Northern Roots?
Northern Roots is a story I'm writing about the First Nations people in Canada migrating to the wilderness during an escalating war early in the 21st century with missile launches being the final straw on whether or not to move away further from the border.
Despite the fact that the remoteness of the Indian reservations would most likely have kept them out of harm's way as they are not major targets like cities, the natives of Canada saw this as an opportunity to go back to their roots and live like their ancestors used to and rediscover their way of life and culture.
That's my basic premise for it anyway :]
My Original One-Shot
This was my "pilot" comic and serves as a sort of a small preview of the type of comic series Northern Roots would be. I drew it around the end of 2024?
But yeah, Stay tuned on this page for more! I plan to upload every comic here so there's a place you can read all of it in.
The comics I've done for this series are currently up on my tumblr and Newgrounds pages.
uhhhhmmmmm yeah. the page is currently in construction but I will be generally using this page as an art gallery for me eventually.. once i figure it out :p
